Thinking of Krishna
Please find below a small story on how Krishna is beloved to the devotees who think of Him – it clearly shows the consequences of not thinking Him.
Uddhava was the friend of Shri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. After seeing all the troubles of Pandavas because of the dice game, Uddhava was keen to ask a question to Sri Krishna. He aasked the Lord, "Dear Krishna! You knew what is to happen if the Pandavas are to play that game and you could have very well avoided it. Why did You allow Your own most favourite devotees like Pandavas, especially Arjuna, to suffer all these hardships in spite of You being with them??"

Lord Krishna answered Uddhava "I was indeed wanting to help my most favourite of my devotees. But while they started the game, Yudhishtra was thinking that Lord Krishna should never know that he's playing such a game. Not even once did he thought about Krishna to help him, instead he thought Krishna should never know about this. Even my beloved sister, Draupadi when pulled to the palace hall, did not think about me even for a fraction of second. She was requesting her husbands and other persons sitting in the palace hall, but never called upon Krishna. Only when she had a situation that in the next second, she'll lose her clothes, that time she called out to me. That was enough for me to help her out".
This incident shows that, Lord Krishna is always wanting to help us no matter how dreaded the situation we are into. No matter who we are, what we are and where we are, thinking of Lord Krishna even for a second will save us from dreaded situations of our life.
Keep chanting Hare Krishna Maha Mantra, "Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare!" everyday which pleases Lord Krishna the most.
Thanks to Jeevitha Damodaran for sharing this nice story with all of us. Keep chanting Hare Krishna Maha Mantra, "Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare!" everyday which pleases Lord Krishna the most.
PS: I humbly request all the devotees to please forward moral / instructive stories they hear so that everyone can be benefited.

What you wrote above is not based on the original Uddhava Gita which is part of Srimad Bhagavatham. Sri Krishna could not help Pandavas since he was preoccupied with the war waged by Salwa on Dwarakapuri. This is clearly mentioned in Mahabharata. Uddhava himself was fighting along with Krishna in defence of Dwaraka hence the question becomes absurd. Your story as such is good but linking it to Uddhava-Gita might be confusing to people who read the scriptures.
